AEGEE empowers students and young people in Europe to take an active role in society. The organisation aims to create a space for dialogue and learning opportunities as well as acts as their representative towards decision-makers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Who are we looking for?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are currently looking for a full-time (38 hours\/week) Projects &amp; Alumni Relations Assistant to work together with us in our head office in Brussels in the implementation of grant-based projects in the fields of active citizenship, civic education, intersectionality, (digital) activism and sustainability. Additionally, the Projects &amp; Alumni Relations Assistant will be working on researching institutional and corporate funding opportunities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Main tasks:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research on grant opportunities, assisting the board and the Project Officer with project drafting and implementation (grant writing, logistics and content);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seeking new relevant funding opportunities, potential donors and corporate partnerships;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communication and assisting in the fostering of the alumni relations and engagement with Les Anciens d\u2019AEGEE.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assisting in the general project management (overview, communication, narrative reporting, etc.);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assisting in the supervision and organisation of events such as international meetings, international conferences, etc. (logistics, content);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organise and create dissemination events and activities in our network;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communication and cooperation with partners and stakeholders (other NGOs, European institutions).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Essential qualifications and qualities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Master\u2019s degree in a relevant field;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience in European Project Management including grant writing, implementation and reporting;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge and\/or experience working with the funding schemes from the European Commission (e.g. Erasmus+ programme), the European Parliament and the Council of Europe\u2019s European Youth Foundation;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excellent command of English (C1);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intermediate office IT skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), online collaborative tools (GSuite, Slack), and videoconference tools (Zoom, Google Meet);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge of youth policy in Europe;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Team player and comfortable working in an international environment;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Openness to work in a fast-paced and flexible international NGO environment;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proactivity, ability to work independently and learning mindset;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an asset.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desirable:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge of French;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience with non-formal education;<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prior engagement in youth NGOs or other NGOs at national\/European level is highly valued.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What do we offer?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An international, young and friendly working atmosphere<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A 6 month to one year contract contract under Belgian Law (CIP, paid internship);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Full-time, 38 hours\/week;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monthly salary of \u20ac1050 for the first six months.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Application
