We all won the Peace Nobel Prize 2012!
Yesterday started with a long anticipated news, the Norwegian Nobel Committee has announced the Peace Nobel Prize for 2012. The Laureate was a great surprise for all the AEGEE members and all the Europeans, since the prize has been awarded to the European Union "for over six decades contributed to the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe". The future of Erasmus at a stake?
AEGEE-Europe has started a petition asking the relevant EU bodies to secure funding for the Erasmus programme. To view and sign the petition, click here. Launch of the “Europe on Track” project
At a time when the idea of Europe is being questioned, we think it is important to ask its youth, what is their position and what are their expectations from the Europe of tomorrow. As a youth platform, we think it is fundamental to give voice to the young generation, in order to take their opinion, their realities and their wishes into account.
